WORK EXPERIENCE: THEATRE DIRECTING, DEVISING, PERFORMING

Since 2012, Angela Delichatsios has been based in Athens, Greece, and with an ensemble of co-creators, she collaborates on physical theatre performances (as director, co-director, deviser, performer) that incorporate poetic and other texts with site-specific embodiment in non-usual theatre spaces: public park spaces, a shopping arcade, a former workshop. Several of the performances have been ambulatory, with the audiences following the performers from location to location where the performative actions take place. Some performances had an activist dimension by re-introducing green public spaces (which had been semi-abandoned) to local citizens.

Thrausmata enontai tryfera (Fragments joined tenderly), Lykavyttos Hill (2021-2022), Festival Lykavyttos (2021)
Co-creator and performer, along with Vassiliki Nomidou, of devised site-specific performance on Lykavyttos Hill with themes of eco-poetry, political activism and socioeconomic alternatives inspired by the Zapatista movement.

Orizontes (Horizons), Festival Lykavyttos (2022)
